MARKETING MATERIAL CONTENT WRITER

The Marketing Material Content Writer is responsible for the management and creation of written marketing content regarding Rycan’s web-based healthcare software. Responsibilities include researching, writing, organizing, and editing promotional materials for publications in both print and web formats. Other duties include writing content for white papers, articles, newsletters, press releases, social media posts, email blasts, and web pages. To perform this job successfully, an individual should possess strong written communication skills, the ability to research and analyze topics, and the knack to work on multiple projects from concept to publication while writing within the brand’s tone and voice. A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or similar work and education experience in the development of marketing content preferred. Knowledge of search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, social media marketing, and healthcare knowledge is a plus. Description
Schwan's Shared Services, LLC is seeking a Sr. Training & Development Specialist to join our High Performance Development Solutions team (HPDS) in support of the Schwan’s Food Service business unit.
This role works cross-functionally within HPDS and with the business unit to define an approach and design for various areas of training needs. Using strong project management skills and training & development experience, they will work with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and develop training materials for Classroom, Web-Ex, and online Modules. This person will work collaboratively with the corporate training & organizational development teams and Food Service on the development and on-going updates for the On-line Modules. The audience for training would be Food Service internal employees as well as external business partners.
  • Develops an in-depth understanding of the skills and knowledge needed for assigned customers & areas of responsibility.
  • Accurately completes performance gap analysis using standardized assessment tools and manages the design and development of cost- effective learning options that improve the performance of employees and completes the learning objectives.
  • Consults with management about individual and team development plans.
  • Conducts instructor-led training and facilitation.
  • Designs and develops learning materials to fit curriculum.
  • Completes learner knowledge and skill verifications on each skill set.
  • Completes summative evaluations to improve learning effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Facilitates organizational change/development activities.
  • Works with development teams to develop a more comprehensive plan to optimize talent including the deployment of leadership development planning for the business unit.
  • Helps manage the identification, development, and deployment of leadership learning across the organization and may serve as a mentor and evaluator of lower level staff.
  • Promotes collaboration partnerships and relationships among internal customers.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's degree preferred
Years of Related Experience: Minimum 4 years related Training or Learning & Development experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Advanced ability to effectively measure learning needs.
  • Advanced ability to effectively create learning tools and environments.
  • Advanced ability to effectively design and deliver learning to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Solid ability to effectively evaluate learning effectiveness and adjust as necessary.
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the operation of a personal computer in a Windows environment to include the Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, to manage multiple projects, to meet deadlines, to problem solve, to work under pressure and to mentor staff as appropriate.
  • Ability to travel as required.
