Magazine Editor Internships

Junior PWC majors at SMSU are eligible to apply for a 10-week summer internship offered by the American Society of Magazine Editors. Interns will have the opportunity to work in the editorial offices of a magazine in New York City or Washington, D.C. Interns will receive $425 a week but will have to pay for their own housing, travel, and food expenses.

Interested PWC majors should meet with Dr. Henning as the application process is somewhat involved, and the school may only recommend one student. The application deadline is December 1, 2009, so interested students should meet with Dr. Henning as soon as possible.

For details about the internship, go to: http://www.magazine.org/asme/internships/aboutinternship/index.aspx
