New Journal On Undergraduate Research Is A Good Publishing Opportunity For PWC Majors
The new online journal Perspectives on Undergraduate Research and Mentoring (PURM) is now live and can be viewed at: http://www.elon.edu/purm/issue-1-1/
This journal is unique in that it publishes articles that discuss faculty, adminstrator, and student perspectives on undergraduate research. SMSU students who have been involved with the SMSU Undergraduate Research Conference should take a look at this journal and consider crafting an article for publication.

American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) Internships Available
Senior PWC majors at SMSU are eligible to apply for a 10-week paid summer internship offered by the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME). Interns will have the opportunity to work in the editorial offices of a magazine in New York City or Washington, D.C. The application deadline is December 1, 2011.
